The Des Camm band has been playing New Orleans swing for the past fifty years at jazz festivals, jazz conventions private functions, and has travelled, playing this style though most states in Australia. The band  has recorded ten CDs during that time and held down the prestigious bridge hotel in Richmond for ten years every Saturday night with also the Caulfield RSL for ten years monthly on a Friday night. The personnel for the Geelong Jazz and Blues festival is as follows:
